MOSAICO is a true innovative solution for tailored blanks manufacturing, representing a simple and reliable alternative to the complex traditional manufacturing lines.

Conventional TBW lines require rigid and costly blanking dies or shearing machines to prepare the sheets before welding. MOSAICO is a flexible, low cost station that prepares the edges, joins and welds the blanks.

MOSAICO features a double head, automatically switching from cutting to welding, and a purpose built numerically controlled supporting table. In sequence, the sheets are trimmed, joined and welded in a single machine cycle.

The MOSAICO head can move along any path in the XY plane, achieving both linear and non-linear welds. Complex tailored blanks (composed of more than two parts, such as a body side) can be easily produced within the same working cycle.

Developed from the PLATINO, MOSAICO takes advantage of the excellent reliability and performances of this well proven 2D laser machine. Benefits include:
