A variety of upgrades and services are available from LASERDYNE SYSTEMS to extend the applications and/or to increase the productivity for systems in operation at customer sites.
Upgrade options include:
Controller Software / Hardware - Upgrade from the System 84 or System 94 to the Windows XP based System 94W control with the latest programming and process control features.
Beam Delivery Accessories - Standard and right angle lens/nozzle assemblies.
Laser - Replace or upgrade your laser, for example, from a JK704 to a CL50k and enjoy the benefits of changing focus spot size without changing focus position or power.
Break Through Detection – BTD® For Nd:YAG LASER Systems is another of the tools for maximizing throughput and quality in laser drilling turbine engine components. It accomplishes this by compensating for variations in material thickness and material removal rates.
Optical Focus Control - OFC™ for Nd:YAG LASER Systems is a unique means of controlling the location of the laser beam focal point relative to both metal and non-metal (not electrically conductive) surfaces. OFC is the result of LASERDYNE working with a customer to solve a real-world need for laser drilling of TBC (thermal barrier coated) components. OFC uses a visible (red) laser beam coaxially aligned with the CL50k laser beam to provide an absolute measurement of the distance between the focusing lens and workpiece surface.
Rotary Axes - Variety of speed, precision, and capacity options.
Mechanical System Upgrades - Ranging from minor upgrades to extend system life, to major rebuilds.
Re - Manufacturing - An exclusive LASERDYNE SYSTEMS option which allows customers to have their systems "Re - Manufactured" at the LASERDYNE facility in Champlin, MN. In addition to obtaining as new factory tolerances and features an entirely different laser can be fit to a system.
