PRIMA TO INTRODUCE ADVANCED LASER RESONATOR AT
OPEN HOUSE / SEMINAR ON JUNE 7, 2007

CHICOPEE, MASS. U.S.A. (April 9, 2007) – PRIMA North America, a world leader in 2D and 3D laser cutting and automation, has announced that they will be holding an Open House / Laser Seminar on June 7, 2007 at their Chicopee, MA Technology Center.  At the event PRIMA North America will introduce their new CONVERGENT LASERS CV5000 Laser Resonator, the most advanced in its class.  

The CV5000 is uniquely designed, allowing exceptionally higher cutting speeds for increased productivity, the ability to process thicker materials and to produce superior cut quality with a reduced heat-effected zone.  In addition, the CV5000 consumes less power, so users obtain the dual benefit of significantly enhanced performance with lower operating costs.

Attendees will also learn how PRIMA Laser Cutting Systems can increase their productivity and profits, and have the opportunity to see various demonstrations on PRIMA’s latest 2D / 3D laser cutting systems. There will also be demonstrations on automated material handling, 2D and 3D programming software, and high-speed tube cutting on a CNC rotary axis.  Event activities span the entire day and provide the opportunity for fabricating professionals to directly interact with PRIMA technical experts to discuss their specific production needs and tour the PRIMA North America facility.
