PRIMA NORTH AMERICA EXPANDS CHICOPEE, MASSACHUSETTS
MANUFACTURING AND TECHNOLOGY CENTER

CHICOPEE, MA USA (September 30, 2006) – Due to steady growth and demand for PRIMA industrial lasers and laser systems, PRIMA North America, Inc. recently completed a 20,000 square foot expansion at its state-of-the-art Manufacturing and Technology Center in Chicopee, Massachusetts. This location is also the site of the company’s headquarters.

The facility is located in the new Chicopee River Technology Park in Chicopee, Massachusetts. The expansion brings PRIMA North America’s total space at the facility to approximately 88,000 square feet. The newly created space will support increased manufacturing of the company’s CONVERGENT LASERS industrial CO₂ and Nd:YAG lasers as well as expanded service, and capacity for demonstrations and commissioning of laser sheet metal fabrication machinery. PRIMA’s modern headquarters feature a spacious demonstration showroom and training area, where customers can see PRIMA products at work and also learn about the latest advances in laser technology.
